GRANTS for

Scandinavian Exchange

SSI wants to promote collaboration between Scandinavian researchers.

You are therefore also eligible to apply for grants from SSI to finance exchanges between labs in the Scandinavian countries

1. Description of the project including aim, duration, address   of the collaborating lab and motivation.


2. CV + list of publications

European Congress of Immunology (ECI 2012), September 5-8, Glasgow, UK

EFIS is offering 200 travel grants at a value of 600 € to enable young scientists to attend

the ECI 2012. An online application form will be installed on the EFIS website soon.

The application should include:
 

1. Abstract submitted to the meeting
2. CV + list of publications

 

Rules for receiving a travel grant, as previously: 

  •         Member of a national society also the year before application
  •         Member fee for 2010 must have been paid
  •         Master, PhD trainees and Post doctoral fellows up to 5 years after PhD
  •         Accepted abstract for meeting 
Financing of these travel grants will be 40 from SSI and 10 from the Nordic Foundation.
 
Evaluations and decisions are made by the SSI council, after recommendation of the national representatives of the council.  Priority will be given to applicants early in their immunological career. If there are more applications than travel grants priority will be given to applicants being first authors of their abstract.
